It is our duty to provide every client with a structure that will last for an extended life-span. Several strategies have been successfully implemented in with an emphasis on energy conservation and reducing the environmental footprint of the structure. “Thinking green” in construction is not a temporary fad, it's the new way of doing business and we take our responsibility to protect and care for the environment seriously.
F.T. James Construction seeks to provide the owner with the most optimal structure possible and it is our opinion that “Green Buildings” provide benefits that conventional buildings do not. The end result of sustainable design principals is a structure that is more environmentally friendly, with better indoor air quality, uses less waste and energy, and has lower operations and maintenance costs.
The project managers and superintendents at F.T. James participate in on-going training and seminars to stay current with the most recent LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) standards and practices. We will work with the Architects and Engineers from the conception of the construction process to determine which sustainable construction practices will be utilized and are dedicated to implementing those strategies for the duration of the project.
